Loved the remodel, the materials, finishes, exceptional shower, location, thoughtful details. Staff was very friendly.
The mattresses seemed a bit worn and it was hard to get comfortable. They were about a 5 in terms of comfort and could feel the springs. This particular room (131), seemed like it needed a little bit of a refresh. There were some previous repairs to the bathroom wallpaper and door that looked like it could have been done better and it squeaked really loud. The cabinet shelf was a little beat up. The shower also leaked very badly and had to keep using all the towels to clean up the puddles.
Also found 3 millipedes in the room (2 live ones and 1 dead). They may have come in through cracks on the ground floor. I mentioned it to the staff, and it looked like they were checking into it. It wasn’t a big deal overall.

The staff went out of the way to help us switch rooms when the initial room a/c was not working.
Our next room while comfortable had a sewer smell. The maintenance fixed an access panel that came loose. It still smelled bad after that.
