The owner wouldn't give me the two beds that I signed up for since I was alone, she thought I was going to bring in more people and party! At 80, give me a break!

The price: I was attending a three-day convention in a hotel at the north end of near-by Albany but could not afford the room rates. The room was well cleaned except for a left-over bar of soap on the tub/shower. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. My room was far enough from the adjacent US Highway 20 that the traffic noise was not bad.

The hostess put me in a smoking room to start because she couldn't find the key to the non-smoking room assigned to me. It was difficult for me to see to shave and trim my beard because the light on the wall above the bathroom sink was inoperative. The wall-mounted light on the bathroom side of the bed was impossible to turn on because there was no plug on the end of the cord which was laying on the floor below the electrical receptacle.

Conveniently located and we could have our dog

I wanted a bath but we were scared to put our buts in it due to the fact that we found a used biohazard (needle) behind the end table. And the beds were not made with clean sheets or blankets, we found dried brown what looked like poop on the bed spread. And flies everywhere.. we were there for 5 days and the never asked for service for the beds, but when I was outside she asked if I wanted bath towels.

Room was very clean. Bed was comfortable.

Noise from highway and trains.
