Hotel Bellwether on Bellingham Bay

Very nice staff, comfortable bed, nice large room

Curtain gap that we couldn't fix had light streaming in from courtyard. Air conditioner went on (sign said to keep it on auto) and blew directly on me (due to my side of the bed) and was extremely annoying. Let staff know at checkout that the price card for room bar had part of the prices cut off- bottle of wine showed $4 instead of $40 (or more). Staff person rather than just saying thanks gor letting me know had to talk about how it was housekeepings failt and they need to work on their cutting skills-

Breakfast was overpriced and not great, as was the coffee. There are much better breakfast/lunch/dinner places around town. But the hotel is wonderful!

OK that above the tub there's a panel that opens into the bedroom, but it should provide more privacy for the bathroom. Also, the Impressionist painting of a boat is hung upside down! If it's in every room, it's likely upside down there too.

The room was generous in size and the hotel was beautiful. It was clean and lovely to be on the water.

We ordered room service Sunday morning (two eggs and a latte). It took over 90 minutes (the room service phone line never answered - had to place the order through the front desk). The $7 latte arrived cold and was undrinkable. The supplies in the room were limited (only two towels) and not enough coffee pods.
