Great laid-back “old Florida” motel right on the beach.

Property was conveniently located to some great food, and right on the beach. Far enough away from the crowded historic district for us.

For our first trip to Amelia Island this property was perfect for us. Easy checkin, friendly staff.

Great pool on property. Path to beach easy to walk due to sand mat covering path. Beautiful white sandy beach. Room was very clean and adequate size for us. Bathroom small but again fine for us. Coffee available every morning in check-in area. Across the street from property is a restaurant. Definitely a plus!

Led lights would have improved the lighting. We would have liked a microwave. Smoking is allowed outside each room door. Not a problem during the day but at night when in the unit, we could smell smoke from inside our room. Would have liked a smoking area away from unit door.

Perfect

Love the oceanfront rooms, views, incredible moonrise. Beds were comfortable, staff is friendly amd welcoming...Rita was a sweetheart. Rooms are well stocked with all ya need ...I loathe microwaves so was happy the room didn't have one but did have a stove top and oven

Wish the pool was heated...And it'd be awesome if the oceanfront room on top floor had a king size bed...

Very nice staff, superb location right on the beach. Next time I'll go for the rooms in the back, facing the ocean, those have to be awsome

WiFi didn't work and mobile service not great either, that was a problem for working.

Great beach access but they need to invest some money in new beds and secure wi-fi.

Great location with direct beach access. The Surf Restaurant is across the street and has amazing food.

The beds need to be replaced. We stayed in a room with two queen beds, and both had the "valley" in the middle so we each slept in a bed. The wi-fi is horrible. They use a free online site which was unsecured and when we were able to access it, was disconnected within a minute. They need to invest in a secure router. As a whole, they need to start doing some improvements. Even though it’s an older hotel and you don’t expect everything to be new, there are areas that could be improved.

Like a motel 6 on the beach. Small and barely holding together, and you’ll pay too much for the lack of any luxury.

On the ocean. no extra parking fee. able to get in early. maids nice

Lock on door hardly worked, terrible beds, maids never washed dishes, drawers falling out, no microwave, no chairs or towels on beach, no real breakfast drawers broke, no microwave, no towels or chairs available on beach pool really needs painting no flowers, plants or anything to dress it up office not particularly great way too expensive for what we got

Good location, staff friendly

Pool was filthy, bed very uncomfortable and worn out, killed 2 bugs in bathroom, spider web on ceiling, room in need of some upkeep.

We enjoyed our 40th anniversary there.

The breakfast was too many sweets. It was more like snacks. We loved the location.

Healthy breakfast items. The suite we reserved had a sm kitchen which was fine but no microwave. All the other regular rooms without kitchen has a microwave.

Quaint Little Piece of Paradise

This is our second stay at this motel. We absolutely love the location! This was our first time in the ocean view room. 😍 We love, love, love this place!

The ocean view rooms do not have a microwave and that was a downer for quick warm ups. The beds were not comfortable at all. The bathroom is very small. The A/C could get a little cooler at night. It says 66° but there is no way. Could use some deep cleaning around the baseboards and air conditioning areas.

This is a nice place, reasonably priced, for a stay on an excellent beach.

The Beach was excellent. The room was excellent for a motel room, clean, and updated.

It rained a couple of times while we were there.
