Location and value were great. We needed to pick up our friend who was flying into the airport, so the location was perfect. The room was large and comfortable and a very good value. And it's always nice to have coffee and breakfast included.
I think the hotel is "pet friendly" and our room smelled a bit doggy.

I had reserved 3 nights through priceline for a funeral in Iowa City. When I called to change checkin to only use 2 days, they said "we can't help you, call priceline". I called priceline who only gave me an option to pay 3 nights but cancel and make a new reservation. When I called back to the desk, the lady NOW said Oh you shouldn't have done that - they could have sent an email - something she NEVER mentioned in my first call. SO I bought 2 more nights (total of 5 nights!) so that my friend could stay and attend the funeral. The desk lady at Country Inn and Suites was very unhelpful, and I paid for 5 nights, when all I wanted was 2. If anyone there wants to refund me SOMETHING, that would be decent, but all I got was a fairly impatient lady, and I feel very ripped off by the situation...it made a time of loss even tougher.
Unfeeling and unhelpful staff - priceline also, but hotel should have refunded something
