Sundance Mountain Resort

Beautiful resort at a perfect location. We loved the interior, food was excellent and beds were very comfortable. The blackout shades were great! It never felt crowded and everyone was really friendly. We had the ADA Double Queen Room on the second floor facing the parking lot and it was very peaceful.

Sundance Mountain Resort is truly magical and majestic, with so many wonderful things to experience. The spa is incredible, especially the Sana and heated pools. The natural creek cold plunges, which were both refreshing and unique. The summer lift ride offered breathtaking scenery that made the whole visit feel peaceful and unforgettable. Many local hikes to choose from and explore! We were also very happy with how dog friendly this resort was. It was amazing to walk her around and also dog waste bags readily available. What really stood out was the warm and welcoming staff.. they were consistently friendly and helpful. I also loved the convenience of their texting service, where I could message with any questions and receive quick, helpful responses. Overall, Sundance delivers an amazing combination of natural beauty, relaxation, and top-notch service. I can’t wait to go back!

While our stay was wonderful overall, there were a few areas that could be improved. I was a bit surprised that complimentary breakfast was not included given the price of the stay. That said, I did grab a breakfast burrito from the deli, and it was absolutely delicious. We also signed up for the Luau dinner, which was originally planned for the top of the mountain but ended up being moved to the amphitheater due to wind. The staff were fantastic, friendly, festive, and made a great effort but for the price, the overall experience felt a bit underwhelming. I was expecting more traditional Luau elements, like dancers or more games or entertainment, to enhance the atmosphere. Lastly, I understand the local regulations, but accessing alcohol was a bit challenging. It would have been nice to have more convenient options, such as in-room availability or easier delivery service. At times, I found myself going from place to place trying to coordinate getting a drink delivered.

Beautiful facility in a spectacular location. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food at restaurants quite good.

Location. Amenities access to restaurants & bars. . Staff did all to please. Food & decor. Breakfast selection excellent.

Handicap room had no chairs, desk or tables in the room. No garbage bags in bathroom. Only King bed & Dresser . I had to ask for a chair with side bars. They brought up a sofa chair from lobby. I had to ask for garbage bags for at least the bathroom. Still no table to eat on or another chair for the caretaker. There was plenty of room for these items. Staff did best to rectify. Mgmt does not listen to staff. They don’t want garbage bags in a handicap room for cosmetic reasons? So dirty diapers go directly into the cans building up bacteria’ & smell?
