Crusty!

Absolutely nothing, this place needs to be shut down & burnt down.

The front desk smells like pee, place was a mess ! Unfortunately I used booking and couldn’t cancel it. I would’ve rather slept in my car at this point. Everything is out dated feels like I’m at my great grandmas house, sink was almost falling off and water wouldn’t go down. Bathroom curtain had mold, I should’ve read the reviews first. There was roches and ants, holes in the walls and tile was missing. The beds were dirty with blood stains, the towels were dirty like they’ve never been washed since they opened this place. The windows just have a random stick from outside a toddler picked closing it, the door locks didn’t even work. The A/c was louder then the mice in the walls. Place looks nothing like the pictures, totally catfished I need that editor. I had to sleep with the light on & watch out for cockroaches. I would’ve preferred to spend my 80$ on rocks!

Bad

Only the bed

Everything curtains were just barely hung. No lamps beside bed. It was just awful but we were so tired from driving for so long .was the worst place we have seen yet .not even a coffee machine no ice machine nothing 😭 I regret not taking any pictures

cleanliness, holes in the wall let very cold air in, bathroom window was very drafty and was freezing. sink did not drain and everything looked like it had been used by previous tenants.

There is nothing to like about this property. the shower curtain was stained very badly.

It's not the Ritz lol. The lady at the desk wasn't very nice, or nice at all hahaha.

It was easy to get right back on the road from the location. We only stayed a few hours, it served it's purpose.

I found a bed bug.

No Kleenex in room no instructions on how to use air conditioner or tv very difficult when an older person traveling not always up to the new technology manger wasn’t friendly more intrested in getting back to riding bike with his dog

Don’t get this room unless it is a last resort and you don’t mind having your windows unlocked.

had rooms available

no pool or breakfast as advertised. the people that own the place were very nice and their dogs were adorable and friendly, they seem like good people. The tile in the bathroom was duck taped, newer wood floor was caving in already, the toilet was not attached to the floor and banged against the wall any time you used it, ants in room, smelled fine but mattresses were stained bad… sheets looked fine. the room didn’t smell bad and the A/C worked and the tv worked great. checked the windows as always and there was no way to lock them, we put a drawer from the dresser to keep it from being able to be opened. the room was $40 at the time and it was late so we booked the room based off the pictures available and didn’t see the reviews after booking…. the room is not refundable and we were tight on money at the time. If I was able to see the the ratings and remarks before booking the room we would’ve paid the $150 at the motel 6 down the road for the security of locked windows and a good nights sleep.

The first person we encountered did not know what to answer. the second person had to be probed for answers.

i didn’t like anything this place needs some real work done to it

it was ran down the ceilings were bubbling and they painted the bathroom over tile that was chipping and looked bad just plain bad. no working tv remote and this place is a dive that’s for sure. drapes were falling off the window.

housekeeper tried to walk in without knocking while I was changing, good thing my husband is quick and the chain was latched.

It's comfortable and clean. Outdated in the bathrooms but that doesn't bother me.

What I didn't like had nothing to do with the room. I watched the owner hurt a dog but when he saw i was watching he went n got treats for the dog.

A very good hotel for the price.

The hotel was close to the freeway, was clean, didn’t smell, no bugs, comfortable beds with 3 pillows each. All the essentials were there had a good functioning heater/ AC, tv worked well with plenty if channels, working wifi and plenty of hot water. The owner looks to have taken some of the negative complaints as a way to improve.

This hotel is on the historic route 66 and looks to be an original hotel. It has at some time had an undated but still needs work. When I was reading the reviews I was a little worried to stay here but understanding its an old hotel we gave it a chance. While not perfect I enjoy my stay and will give it a chance in the future.

just keep driving.

I usually ignore bad reviews for places if I just need a place to crash while road-tripping on a highway cuz I don’t need amenities, all I need is a bed… don’t ignore these bad reviews!

the bed was itchy, dirty, and uncomfortable. there was no one available when I checked out at 6am, even after I rang the bell, so I didn’t get my receipt. and I am covered in bites!

What a dump!

The room appeared to be clean, except for the stains on the furniture.

Absolutely the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced! the bed was uneven, there was a washcloth stuffed under the bed to help it, which didn’t work. the linen and curtains had holes in them. The faucet on the bathtub was broken, we were unable take a shower. The room key didn’t work, the night manager had to use the hard key to unlock the room. When I asked him how do I get into the room if the key doesn’t work, he said we would have to come to him to get it open every time. We just left the door open a crack. If I could have I would have passed this hotel up. I was on the road and this was the only hotel that had vacancy within an hour drive from Albuquerque. I paid extra for two queen beds but got a king bed. It was a good thing my traveling partner was my daughter.
