Best Western Potsdam University Park Inn, NY

The hotel is ideally located in downtown Potsdam, right on the riverbank and surrounded by a charming park. Its location makes it easy to enjoy the area, with several restaurants just one or two blocks away. We found this very convenient and appreciated being within walking distance of dining and local attractions. Very clean room with all the necessary amenities, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Friendly staff.

While our stay was pleasant overall, there were a few housekeeping and maintenance issues that could be improved. At the entrance, the key card reader was surrounded by an old spider web, which created an unfavorable first impression. The hallway carpet also appeared not to have been vacuumed before and during our stay. In addition, the outdoor tables in the common seating area next to the building were not clean and did not look inviting for guests to use. Addressing these details would help create a more welcoming and comfortable environment for visitors.

Can’t beat the in-town location and staff was so helpful!

Breakfast is a quick basic fast option and area for eating nice. Don’t have high expectations.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful in finding a place to eat the evening we checked in. The room was clean. Every employee we encountered there was very kind.

The breakfast spread wasn't kept up. I saw people coming in and having limited breakfast food available. Juice cups were out, pastries were very low. Even the waffle batter was low. The food was fine . . . if you could get it.

Location and Quaint

Our room had an odor
