The staff, especially Tavin at the front desk, were all very nice. My room had obviously just been updated and the bathroom was brand new. The room was clean and with plenty of towels.
Really appreciated the mini fridge and the microwave in the room.
Entrance is not inviting. The place is obviously very old and could benefit from an update. The carpet on the stairs and down the halls was horrendous: dirty and covered with big spots. The windows up the stairs needed a good cleaning. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR. The AC is the old-fashioned one, attached under the window and it is quite noisy. They could upgrade the breakfast pastries to something slightly better than Hostess.

The rooms are remodeled and nice. It's close to downtown.
Housekeeping never came to our room. We had to ask for things like toilet paper and towels, garbages were never emptied, etc. There was a card on the TV stand asking for tips, which was tacky, especially since housekeeping services were non-existent.
