Breakfast was included. Gluten free options were available. We were able to eat outside on the porch area which was very lovely. The room was new and very clean located in the main building. King size bed was very comfy! The pool area is just the right size, and you can go across the street and hang on lounge chairs/umbrella on a small beach area as well. We were able to use the facilities the day we arrived and the day we departed (before and after check-in/out times) which made our one night stay feel even longer! Showers, sauna, steam room available to use. There is also a valet service if you need to be driven to the ferry etc. They had a BBQ night while we were there--decorated so quaint and beautiful location on front lawn. Overall great experience.

it’s a very nostalgic property on Shelter Island. It is always clean and the staff is super kind. They are from all over the world and really try at all times to make you happy.
The one thing I did not like was we were eating dinner last night, which was a Sunday and it was 930 at night and they had shut all the interior lights down. They did not rush our meal that we had on the deck, but you could tell they were ready to go.
