The breakfast was wonderful. Limited seating, so we ate on our balcony. The staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to eat.the room was very clean and spacious.
The door to our room would not open all the way. It bound up on the rug.

Walking distance to the shopping area. Waterfront dock. Beautiful old building- classic and classy.
Its pricey. Not unduly so for the location and quality, but still pricey.

The bed in room one was so VERY comfortable. I slept like a log. Beautiful vintage and antique furnishings and decor. I also enjoyed looking at the wallpaper. I must compliment our gracious hostess the owner ..um.. Stephanie?
We also had breakfast. I cannot remember exactly what, but it was a good "home made" buffet breakfast with a nice pastry choice, I think. Most importantly; the coffee was good.
I would like to devote more time to linger on the porch or the balcony perhaps with a second cup of coffee. On this trip, we were excited to get to "the next thing". BUT, next time visiting Boothbay Harbor, we will be more relaxed and soak up more of this ambience.
On the practical side... room one was up (16) stairs; a relatively narrow staircase, especially carrying bags or (god help you) a hard sided suitcase.

Short walk to downtown. Owners very friendly and helpful. Fantastic breakfast.
Waterfront during high tide. Need to ask for room with a balcony.
