Wingate by Wyndham Elkins

The lobby was very clean and modern. The front desk people were very nice and helpful. They have cookies, coffee, tea and hit chocolate out all the time. The room was spacious, very orderly, and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Everything in the room was clean. The shower was great. Plenty tall for a taller person and a lot of water pressure. Great location easy to get to everywhere, especially Davis & Elkin college.

The parking situation is not great. Limited parking right outside the hotel. Instead you have to park down a small hill by a restaurant and then walk up to the hotel. The breakfast was ok. We had the pre-made cheese omelet and scrambled eggs with bacon and diced potatoes then they switched to sausage patties. The cold cereal they had was all very similar, 2 special k, a krave and apple jacks. Did have cartons of milk which were good and cold. It was a little expensive especially for a place without a pool or hottub. No microwave in the room.

Everything was perfect

Excellent

Nothing

The area where the breakfast was served was very nice and seating was comfortable. The food was good.

We didn't enjoy paying for a room where the TV didn't have sound!! None of them did, except the lobby, and we wanted to watch in our room, not in the Lobby!!
