This facility definitely needs some love and care, but the staff was super helpful.

The location was great, and the staff was super friendly.

It was dusty, the shower curtain was full or red mold, the bed needs a new mattress, and the sockets were coming out of the wall.

A wonderful Christmas Eve in New Orleans

Location was perfect. Price was unbeatable. Room was clean & spacious. Balconies were to ourselves. Beautiful & peaceful

Basic accommodation.

Lauren at the front desk was very hospitable and accommodating.

Facilities need updating. The room could have been cleaner. The desk is only open from 11am-7pm. I have to say the location was convenient but the general area is a little sketchy. Which was surprising since the property was next door to the Waldorf Astoria and across from the Ritz Carlton.

GREAT PLACE + GREAT LOCATION = GREAT TIME

I loveeeeeeed the location!! Right on Canal Street and super close to all the main sites in New Orleans. We walked everywhere. The host was SOOO nice and very accommodating (even though we did not need anything she made sure to ask numerous of times), i wish i got her name. The beds in the loft were very comfortable. The room was very spacious and the access to the balcony was a major plus! **not a private balcony** The lighting from the windows in our room was amazing too.

Again I loved this place and i will definitely come back. However, I would say if anything needs to be upgraded is the bathroom. I think it was cleaned and well kept but since it is so dated it feels alittle dirty and dingy. Maybe the tub can be replaced with a shower and the toilet with a newer one and a fresh white paint job can do the trick.

I got what I paid for. Location overpowers the facility. :-)

Location is the best, close to all the fun but not on a noisy street. Good quality supplies like shampoo, etc as well coffee at the kitchen is a nice touch. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The place is run down and needs some reno and furniture refresh.

never going back

not much to like. it’s old and in need of a serious makeup. the staff seems overwhelmed and not experts at hotel management.

the check in is weak. when you walk in you greeted with a front desk littered with blankets, sheets, paper towels and toilet paper. gives off a distinct feeling of “what is going on here”. the walls in the building are super think so the place is noisy

Last minute stay for Spring Break

Location was perfect, far enough to avoid noise of Bourbon St but close enough to walk to all attractions. Layout was perfect for our family. Price was great.

Room could’ve been cleaner, the floor was quite dusty. Pillows were uncomfortable. First night music from the bar underneath was too loud, wish they were providing earplugs

Our favorite location to stay in New Orleans. Staff attitude far outweighs the aging conditions.

We love the location. Staff members are polite, friendly and knowledgeable. We love the location and roominess vs. hotels. This was our second stay and we'll be returning again in three weeks.

Tooms could use some work, ie., stained furniture, lightbulbs out, cleanliness not as it should be, (hair in bathtub drain) etc. Carpet is old, worn and stained. Microwave was a classic!

You get what you paid

It was on canal and close to the French quarter. It has a nice loft

Cleaning. The floor was absolutely dirty, feet were black after walking on it barefoot. I found wrappers in the drawers and someone’s unwanted food by the trash can when we arrived. Didn’t see front desk at all during the stay. Sheets and towels smelled clean but one towel still has stain mark on it. Didn’t leave us enough towels and sheets. Loud music blasting from the floor level to our room (2nd floor) until early morning.

It was ok, but overpriced for what you get. our room was dirty and very warm, the airconditioning didn’t work

The location was good, very helpful stuff at the reception

it wasn’t clean. We got one room and the bed was broken there. than we got another one and this one was not cleaned for a while, the floor was dirty, it was very warm and the airco didn’t work.

Great New Orleans charm

This place here was absolutely amazing. There is not one thing bad that I could say. It is a total diamond in the rough. The hotel is a little dated but it gives it its New Orleans charm. The location is perfect. The loft room we prefect for the 6 of us. The room was very cozy and clean. We were greeted with true New Orleans hospitality from the front desk staff all the way to the housekeeping. They went out of their way to accommodate us and make our stay even better. I wish I had gotten their names. It was amazing to be able to walk right out of our room and overlook Canal Street. The hotel is in perfect location of walking distance to many restaurants and entertainment. If you are going to New Orleans for a night out on the the town and location and price is what you are looking for then this is the place. This will definitely be our new place to stay when we come back.

I wish I had found this gem earlier.

SEE Y’ALL NEXT TIME!! Location, value, staff are great!!

lLocation is very good…2 blocks from Bourbon/Canal entrance. 1 block from Saenger theater & directly across street is Ritz Carlton. We were in 401 which was quiet & peaceful. Historical, clean building. If you love boutique hotels you’ll love this…if you enjoy high rise new buildings this wouldn’t be for you. Room 401 had great water pressure, separate main area from bedroom with door, & comfy queen bed. Large viewing balconies of Canal are off Floors 2 & 3 with ample seating. We enjoyed people watching several times out there. We loved getting to know Neil the manager & Mrs. Kim housekeeping supervisor.. very nice & accommodating to guests. The fresh flavored water daily by check in desk is great! Thank you for a GREAT stay!

The front door can be challenging when you’re drunk & getting ice from the bar at night when it’s packed but this is just nit picking what others might want to know. I loved it all and will be staying here again for sure!!!
