The location was fantastic, semi close to the interstate and within a mile or two of historic downtown. The view from our window was incredible, blue ridge mountains to the east, pastural scene to our south. The rooms were very large and recently remodeled. We like to stay in motor inns where our car is right outside the door and it is one floor.
The air conditioner was kind of loud, we turned it to fan during the night so it wouldn't cycle on and off. We always hope for two chairs in a room so we can enjoy our coffee in the morning, but this one had only one desk chair, it was comfortable though.

Externally, very charming. Exceedingly well priced.
Rooms were very large, and as a result difficult to control temperature.

Location is great. It is an old facility that has experienced some upgrades through the years.
