We were visiting family and Toms River and needed a place to stay, so this was fine. It was clean with parking and breakfasts so provide what we needed for stay.
Tom's river is close to Jersey Shore so most of guests were family using it as a base to go to beach, which was fine, but it meant the facilities were really angled towards families with small children- most of focus on the pool! I tried out the gym and it was largely non-functional. The aerobic equipment was generally broken with parts seemingly missing. The management seems to have given up on it. It was annoying that they would list this as an amenity, but not maintain it.

The location was nice since we didnt wsnt to stay on the beach and we have family near by.
The room smelled moldy and I saw under the sink that the drywall was peeling away from the wall around the plumbing. The pool was not heated as advertised. The pool towels can only fit around a small child not an adult. The front desk staff seemed to be sitting in the office every time I walked by. Thete were always large loud crowds in the lobby area or our front and my room was right there and I havw small children.
