The price was excellent for a Saturday night stay. I was planning to take US-395 to Lake Tahoe, but the favorable price made me take US-95 instead and stop in Hawthorne Nevada. I remember staying here many years ago, but did not like how the room was sized for a very short person. They have upgraded significantly and this will be my new budget-friendly favorite when traveling between Las Vegas and Reno/Tahoe. I really like how they have made AC power available in key places to make charging easier.
The leather chairs are showing a bit of wear and tear.

The property is totally unexceptional but, the beds were comfortable and this time around the air conditioner did not sound like a tractor in the room
It is somewhat in disrepair, they offered no coffee pot and rarely anyone at the desk
