The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. It had everything in it that you could think of you may have needed. The second receptionist we encountered who works the 3-11 shift. She was super sweet and nice. She switched our rooms immediately and when I asked for an extra bottled water she gave it to me without question.

We went with my parents, so we got 2 rooms. The room that I chose we walked in and it smelt of old mold and wetness. It was super-hot as well. Looked at the thermostat they had it set to 60, but it was registering 77 degrees. I went to check my parent's room theirs was fine. Went to the front desk they did switch us rooms. That one was perfect. They had a blower fan running in the hallway and one of the workers said they just had shampooed the carpet but to me it seems there may have been a flood of some sorts. It smelt like mildew. The property is located around everything but to get to anything you had to drive around. Almost everything was blocked off. The lake that is in front of the property you had to walk all the way to the main road and around if you wanted to enter. They had locks on the gates that you could have easy access to. Now what usually makes or breaks a visit for me is the staff. The first receptionist which may be the day one, she is not very friendly at all. She didn't smile or greet you like you think in a customer service position should.
