Did not like the dishonesty about the late checkout and overcrowded pool

I thought the location was very good and the facilities and room were satisfactory .

I did not like the fact that I was told via email that I could have an early check in (3 pm instead of 4) and a late check out (12 pm) and then was told the day of checking out that I had to be out by 11. I informed the manager that I had been granted a late check out via email the day of booking but the manager very rudely stated that that must have been a mistake and that I had to be out by 11. She also stated that she would grant me access to a private bathroom if I checked out at 11 like she was doing me a huge favor but the private bathroom she was referring to was the one by the pool that was always open to anyone . Also to make matters worse , about 10 minutes before 11 I went upstairs to get my packed suitcases and to go to the bathroom one last time and I could not even enter the room as it would not take my room key. So I had to go back downstairs and let her know then she had to call someone to come open it ! Such an inconvenience . This final day was the only day of full sun that I had on my whole 4 day trip as it rained the other days so the fact that I was told online I could check out at 12 then the day of told I had to be out at 11 then on top of that not even being able to get in my room at 10:45 to get my suitcases made my last day not enjoyable either . She allowed other guests to check out late because they told me they got a late check out. And she let guests check in as early as 11 am which made the pool area over crowded most of the time . There seem to be quite a few older regulars that come there often in groups and they seem to dominate the few unbrella tables that are there. These same people would also get up early in the morning and put towels on their chairs and tables so no one else would get them but they would not even be out there using them . The pool is overcrowded and not very roomy so when you have families checking in as early as 11 am and late check out families it makes for a crowded pool!

Great place to stay and location is great!

Stay here every year (1 or 2 times) Staff is so nice and accommodating. Very safe place to stay with kids. Nighttime security is great. Right on the A1A strip. Right across from the beach. Walking distance from CVS and many restaurants. Can hang out on the roof top watching the ocean or people. There are iguanas big or small but not that big of a deal. Also expected since they are everywhere in FL.

Home away from home!! Spacious room with full kitchen and supplies. Great staff! My room had a balcony which I really enjoyed.The 9ft pool is the best! We will return again..

Absolutely excellent and we will definitely be back.

Beautiful view of beach and right across the street for easy access. I expected a studio with a Murphy but was surprised by opening the door and seeing a spacious one bedroom apartment. Bedroom decor was very appealing plus the TV in the living room and bedroom both had cable and movies.

Is there any way to potty train the iguanas ? Althought they are quite interesting to watch they leave quite a mess. I did notice the staff doing their best to clean up after them.

The perfect quick getaway

Perfect location with pool overlooking the water. No pomp and circumstance, just facilities you need at an affordable price in unbeatable location right next to the Ritz.

It's a South Florida problem but the iguanas near the pool and their excrements are so annoying.

We would book another stay here if we went back to the Ft Lauderdale area.

The location, staff, cleanliness of property were all awesome. Within walking distance of restaurants and other stores.

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property.

Excellent location. Outstanding value! Feels very secure.

Don't expect hotel amenities, it's not a hotel. Very dated.

Super location, really spacious room and beach outside the front door!

This was my second stay here. I book 2 suites for my adult children and grandchildren and myself. The location is amazing and the staff are fantastic. This is not a super fancy place more like a condo with a full kichen, lots of space and the beach is across the street. The pool is fantastic and there are grills to cook outside.

Everything was great.

It was an awesome location, acceptable apartment, friendly staff, and overall wonderful stay.

Awesome location just across the street from the beach and close to diserable restaurants and attractions. Easy, convenient parking. Very friendly staff.

It's an old building and shows it in places, which didn't bother me but might some people. Those people can always stay at the Ritz right next door and pay five times or so more.

very nice place , with everything you need and extremely good location

everything was perfect , i have no complaints , maybe just a suggestion , they should rent small chair for the beach since we are in front of the beach and we cannot bring a chair in the plane

great stay all but could sleep due to mattress was so hard. it’s a cute beautiful resort close to everything including b

it’s in a great location, it was clean, there cute apartments, close to everything, staff very nice, and maintenance was on anything that needed fixed.

the only thing I didn’t like was we had a pull down bed and the mattress was so uncomfortable that neither could sleep much at all. so wish the mattress were better and this place would be the best.

Will Return Again For Another Visit

There was enough room to spread out. The kitchen allowed for personal meals to be prepared. Close to the beach to relax and many restaurants were within walking distance.

No disappointments were noted during this property stay.

Very good

Loved that it was right on the beach and the parking was free and how close it was to everything. It is a hidden gem that's forsure.

Our neighbors where horrible They allowed them to smoke weed on property and could smell it in our room I have small kids. Our room was supposed to be bigger but we got 1 bed room with a pull out. It wasnt bad just not comfortable.
