Excellent price. Clean. Convenient area.

I have to start by saying when we booked our personal preferences were breakfast and use of hot tub and pool. Upon arrival the man at the front who was very nice , explained to us that we wld need to call in the morning because they don’t really have breakfast right now other than “ maybe a few bagels” on the website it states pool /hot tub hours which states the area opens at 9am. Which again, is one of the reasons we booked at this particular place . Excellent right ? Yes , if only we didn’t get up to go to the pool/hot tub area to find a sign on the door that says opens at 11:30 am. We loved that the check out time was 11-11:30 , we wld def be able to use the spa before we left, NOT! So, if you plan to stay and not use the pool /hot tub at all the next day prior to check out and you don’t want breakfast which clearly states is INCLUDED in the price of your stay then it is a great place to stay. It was very clean with plenty of towels. No microwave which we didn’t really mind because there’s an awesome store across the road walking distance and a Stewart’s down the road a Mile. The pool / hot tub area was great because they are right next to each other , both a good size and they have changing areas and bathroom on women’s and meds side which was convenient. It would have been nice to use it more than once . The location is convenient to a lot of surrounding areas and the price was by far the cheapest around there. So for the price , it was a great place to stay. But I think they should update the site on pool hours and weather breakfast is a for sure part of the stay to avoid problems with guests that aren’t quite as chill as myself. I had an 11 year old boy that was very disappointed that he couldn’t swim the next day because the pool opens at time of check out 😞.

Website states breakfast included and we were told at check in we would have to call in the morn to see if there’s actually breakfast. Website states pool / hot tub areas opens at 9am. It actually opens at 11:30 (time of check out ) so we were unable to use it the following day.

No towels available after 6pm bc house keeping left, never replaced during our stay, pool is cold when it's suppose to be heated. Water in bathroom was warm not hot

Not a good place to go in the winter.

Should have put out salt around cars. Pure ice from sidewalk to car doors and trunk.

Great Location

Location was perfect for our visit. Theres a 24 hour gas station next door and a restaurant across the street. The staff here are very friendly, ex the man who kicked kids out of hot tub, stating temperature of tub was "not recommended for children" .

This is a very dated 2 star motel. Linens are thin and have been washed one too many times. No microwave in room. When I made the reservation I requested a room by the pool. I checked in after the posted check in time and was placed very far away from the pool. Coffee pot very dirty and did not work.

Had family owned atmosphere.

The staff were amazing as areived later thrn expected. Added a extra night due to visiting family. The pool an hot tub were very clean an kept extra towels on all the lounge chairs, it was a welcomed place to relax at the end of the night. Nice sized fridge. The continental breakfast had a great assortment. Rooms were cleaned daily. I will defiantly stay there again when visiting New York.

The ice machine was down. No microwaves in room. The pillows were good quality feather pillows but too squishy.

My family enjoyed your motor inn very much. Our first time in Capital Region

The atmosphere the decorum was very nice the staff very quick.

The beds need more comfortable mattresses like the rooms up front.

knowing everything is pretty rustic in that area, I was concerned about our stay. We arrived and it was so cute and charming, super clean and the staff was amazing. Close to all the best attractions. look forward to going back!

It was a nice place. Other people who stayed there were friendly and personable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Needs some updating. I noticed the bathroom was renovated but other areas need it too

dont stay there not worth your time or money.

That they went into our room and turn the heat off and when got back the room was at 58 degrees which is not appropriate as I paid for the room and leave the thermostat alone. The pool water was cool so our stay wasn't really enjoyable. The beds was the worst kind I have slept in. Never been updated, The dates of the mattress were early 2000s. so umm time to replace them. IT was very sad to see that the new ownership didn't change or care about their guest as our stay should've been more enjoyable.

The Value

The pool was very cold and they are still offering jacuzzi but it has not been running since Covid. That was a big disappointment. You also couldn’t plug the tub to take a bath in the room.

You should look for a better place

There is a pool table and one restaurant bar near.

It is very old. So old that I was worried about bedbugs so I keep all my clothes on. The heater was off when I arrive at the room so I was freezing at least 1 hour before the temperature reached 70.

The coffee bar was nice, but there weren't any breakfast items on it. I think that may have been due to Covid. The night desk clerk was so friendly and helpful. I liked the horse and race horse theme.

The rooms do need updating a bit, especially the carpet. I stayed in Room 117. There was no electrical outlet near the beds. I have a sleep apnea machine that needs electricity. I had to sleep with my head at the bottom of the bed. Even then. It was a real stretch to the outlet and made it dangerous to have a cord from the wall to the bed.
