Pleasant

Nice location, quick walk to the beach and several restaurants.

The beds were clean, and there was laminate flooring which was awesome, however the bathroom needed redone, and the “kitchenette” area looked like it was thrown together with leftover items. But for 3 days it was ok, not a 5star, but decent.

I’ve stayed here 2 years in a row and will always stay here when I return to Myrtle beach.

I loved the staff there. They always made sure we had everything we needed and more.

Location was the only good thing

The location, and surprisingly the hotel pool was clean.

The room was very outdated, peeling paint, fridge didn't keep anything cold. Barely any hot water. All the hangers in the bathroom for towelsand toilet paper were broken and just painted over. Extreamly musty smell when we arrived we lysoled everything. There were lights that didn't work and outlets that would pull out of the wall when you would unplug something from it. Just poor upkeep.

Never staying there again. Horrible place with Bugs.

We got no breakfast

Nothing good about Wayfarer was good! It had Bug Problems, reported to front desk. Not very friendly for seniors.

Superb

the lady on the front desk was super nice and helpful! she agreed to check me in earlier. i arrived at 9 am and they didn’t charge me for that. so I’m very grateful. although I was placed in a smokers room. it smelled like cigarettes. there were no shampoo provided. but there was 4 pieces of soap. beach was 1 minute away. so overall I would recommend because for this price you will not find anything better. in general I’m happy with my stay. location is great, stuff is friendly! there’s a pool available as well. ac worked perfectly fine, I’d recommend this place if you’re on a budget.

Outdated and Overpriced

THE ONLY POSTIVIES WERE THE FRIDGE WORKED AND THE AC WE USED IN THE FRONT ROOM WORKED VERY WELL. IM SORRY WE WILL NOT BE BACK.

VERY OUTDATED, AIR CONDITIONER IN BACK ROOM WAS FILTHY, BATHROOM HAD NO PLACE TO HANG TOWELS AND NO TOILET PAPER HOLDER ALSO A BIG BLACK SPOT ON THE SHOWER CEILING. THE STOVE HAD FOIL ON IT AND THE REFRIGERATER HAD A CHUNK MISSING AND WAS ALSO RUSTY. THERE WAS A HOLE IN THE WALL BY THE TV WITH WIRES COMING OUT. AN EMPLOYEE ALSO JUST TRIED TO OPEN THE DOOR WTHOUT KNOCKING THE FIRST MORNING. OVERALL WE PAID WAY TOO MUCH MONEY FOR A PLACE TO SHOWER AND SLEEP SINCE THAT'S ALL WE DID THERE. IT WAS ONLY A 3 DAY WEEKEND SO WE STUCK IT OUT.

Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

The staff was nice. The pool was nice as well. It went from 3-8ft. The location is very convenient. It is just across the street from the beach and a few blocks from the "boardwalk".

This motel looked like a old frat house. The only thing that looked like had been cleaned were the sheets. The kitchenette was horrible. The burners on the stove were rusted and covered in foil. There were no pots, pan, plates or utensil. The refrigerator door paint was peeling showing rust. The inside was clean. The sink had a smell of rust coming from the drain. I had to ask for bleach to pour down the drain. The carpet had not been vacuum very well. The chairs were heavily stained. The air conditioners had thick layers of dust on them vents which I cleaned with disinfectant whipes I had to go buy. The tub drain was rusted and the shower stopper did not work properly. There were scuff marks on the walls most of which could have been wiped off if someone just tried. A housekeeping never came to the room, I had to go to the front desk for towels. I'm going to assume because of COVID but that was not communicated to me. When I ask for an iron , I was told all of them were stolen. Our last night there I had to kill a roach.

We enjoyed the location and sitting on the balcony. The room sucked.

Location was perfect. Across the street from the beach.

The room was old and in need of repair. The bathroom door couldn't shut. It was old and warped. Had a brown stain on the back. No fan in bathroom. WIFI was slow. TV was analog and had fuzzy picture. Electrical outlets weren't easily accessible. No phone or clock in the room. Front desk was helpful.

Overall, good stay

The area & staff.

Only issue was that Stove & microwave was not clean. But they did replace microwave oven. Also, bathroom door would not close properly.

Exceptional

The friendly staff, location and room size!! Easy to reserve and walking distance to the ocean, restaurants etc. We will be back!!!

Great place the only thing I can think of is maybe putting towel racks/Shelfs in bathroom

The location was great! One block from the beach but definitely wasn’t ocean view

The others that where staying there. Very disrespectful and the smell of marijuana. Couldn’t even walk down to the pool with my kids without having to hold our breath.

great location, all I had to do was walk across the street to get to the beach. All the other restaurants and stores were close by.

Nice cozy place

Smoking rooms a big plus! Ac felt amazing! Friendly staff. The room size was great for 2 parties. Great location

Rooms could have been cleaned better especially the bathroom. Just a lil dingy looking and my bed sheets were all old and ugly compared to the other ones I saw thru windows of empty units. This ain't the Sheraton so understand it's not bouta win no awards but overall I really enjoyed my stay!

Very close to everything. Walkin distance to alot of things.

There was a deposit required on check-in that was not mentioned when we reserved the hotel. Also people where very loud.

Room was not clean at all.

The room and bathroom was very dirty and tearing apart, the bathroom door couldn’t even close, I have a 1 year old and was not safe for him to be on the floor because the carpet was so nasty.

Location , near lots of things and across from the beach. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pictures need to be updated , rooms need remodeled, sketchy characters around, loud. Not worth the price

Exceptional

It was the perfect location. No bugs thank god. It was perfect for us we was only in rooms to shower and sleep. The staff was excellent. They did have some locals that's lived there but the staff definitely kept them in order and didn't play around with them dragging extra people in and out rooms.

the location was very nice there you can fine what you need they don't have a place for you to eat if you did not want to cook at the hotel it was just like being at home but they did tell us about the hotel across the street that let you go there to eat or to take with you

I can not say that I didn't like because I did I have no complaints about my stay there

Perfect location, good price but definitely needed my own blankets,sheets,pillows.

The location was perfect. The employees the security guard out front.

The beds are hard as a rock!! The toilet didn’t flush on its own (had to pull from the inside) The stove would of blown up if I turned it on. Haha
