The overall amenities of the facility were nice including bikes, kayaks, pool, weight room, hot tub, and game room.
Our stay was disappointing from the moment we checked in. We did not receive the room we originally booked, and no one informed us that the hotel had been overbooked. We only learned this after returning to the front desk to question why we were given an incorrect room. At the very least, guests deserve transparency when the hotel cannot honor the reservation they paid for. Plus, no price adjust was received for incorrect room.
The room itself had several cleanliness and layout issues. The coffee maker was placed on the bathroom counter, which is not where anyone should be expected to brew their morning coffee. The bathroom floors were not clean—dust bunnies in the corners and even a hair tie left on the floor. These are basic housekeeping oversights that should never be missed.
Breakfast was also below expectations. The pre‑cooked folded eggs with cheese and the reheated sausages felt more like a quick convenience meal than a hotel breakfast. Overall, the quality was far from standard.
In short, the lack of communication, cleanliness issues, and subpar breakfast made this stay far less enjoyable than it should have been. Transparency and attention to detail would go a long way in improving the guest experience.
