The Tunnicliff Inn oozes charm. It’s an old building, and that’s reflected in every aspect of the Inn, but that’s part of the appeal. It was very affordable and may be in the prime location to explore Cooperstown.
It didn’t have all the amenities one might expect from a modern chain hotel, but that’s okay. The biggest issue was off-site parking.

Great spot. Friendly host there when I arrived. Easy check-in and clear instructions on access. Free parking and advice on where else to park if needed. Location could not be better: right downtown, 2-minute walk to the Hall of Fame, the baseball field, and excellent restaurants. The building & bedroom were exactly as expected. I like the earlier review that said that if you want a Marriot, stay in a Marriot. This is older: it's also clean, well kept and has everything you need. I really liked the place, strongly recommend it, and would absolutely stay there again.
