We did not have time to enjoy all that it had to offer.

It was lovely.

I probably did not pay enough attention, but thought we were staying at the main house across from the water.

Wonderful couples vacation!

The resort is amazing, the staff exceptionally accommodating, the amenities are fabulous! The breakfast each morning (Anadd on package) was wonderful! The location couldn't be more perfect, with views for miles! Lots of fun shopping and restaurants in Kennebunkport, bike riding scooter rides, whale watching and cruises. I must see resort and destination!

My only critique is that the bed did hurt my back, but everything else is a 10 +! There was really nothing else bad about the experience!

Our stay at Cape Arundel was an enchanting experience, lovely staff and beautiful location.

We Loved the breakfast, and the staff, particularly Sanjay and Sandreen were wonderful and attentive!

stunning location, very comfortable stay, sensational food

location, staff were excellent. The food and cocktails were sensational, thanks for to chef and barman Stefano.

I was a bit shocked by the clubhouse room being 3/4 miles away but the staff called a bugy. Looking back booking.com did specify this but in small prints. I think it is fairer to make this more obvious in the title. But the room is actually spacious, very comfortable bed and quiet. Great for a good night sleep.

Disappointed

The pool area, the house keeping staff were very friendly, kind, helpful and professional.

Starting with Check in at 3pm, no one was at the desk. Had to wait almost 25 mins. There were additional guests also waiting to check in. The same with check out!! A note at cottage house, note stated for us to call, I did “no answer” The note also said go to main desk, which we did. No one was there either, only a note explaining they stepped away. The bathroom door in our room doesn’t close, rugs throughout the cottage house are stained and gross. Rooms need serious updating, the cottage is tired and dated. Having an Inn located in Kennebunkport ME know your clientele, start with service, standards and raise the bar regarding conditions of cottage house. Someone should be available at check in, with helper to bring guest’s luggage upstairs. The biggest positive The Help Staff, house cleaners were All friendly, helpful, kind and professional. The waitresses at Ocean were also friendly, kind and professional. Had it not been for the help we would have felt as No one was managing the inn. For what you are charging you should have desks staffed, pristine conditions throughout the rooms/building, and friendly management.

We would not recommend your inn because of the lack of compensation or empathy for our dilemma.

The location was beautiful. We did not eat breakfast at your inn.

That breakfast wasn’t included in our room rate. We didn’t get to our room until 12:30am because our 3:00 flight that was to land in Portland was diverted to Newark. We had to drive almost 7 hours to your inn since there were no other flights available into Portland that day. Management would not work with us to reduce our rate, cancel our reservations, or give us any compensation. For the price of the room, we were disappointed in our bathroom which was outdated. We are surprised that a facility as well known as yours would not work with us, especially since we had NO control over our flight cancellation.

Great Service but I won't return!

The staff was friendly and accommodating prior to my arrival and post-check-out.

I stayed in a different property than I was led on when I booked for this stay. I was under the impression that I was going to stay at the resort which is closer to the ocean and not the inn that is one third away. Secondly, the room doesn't have proper AC or Heater so it's hard to sleep with the sound of the heater running.

A night from hell!

The location of our rooms were not what they offered through booking.com. One room was tiny. They sent us to a dark location away from the main hotel. We almost had an accident driving back from dinner because the location was dark and hard to find. The staff treated us awful and did not care when we complained. The hotel was expensive; it did not justify what we were expecting and totally ruined my vacation because I booked my friend's room which it was only $25 difference to my king size room, but theirs was so tiny, they could barely move!!

I will not recommend this hotel . It totally ruined my vacation!

Terrible location. Our rooms were far away from the club house, and difficult to find. We almost had an accident coming back from dinner. The location of the area of the rooms was dark and difficult to find. My friends room was so tiny compare to mind and it was only around $25 of difference in price, because my room had a king bed. I booked their hotel room and I felt bad to see them so disappointed. It ruin our evening in Kennebunkport.

Desk Attendant in Main Inn was Smug. Had we wanted to stay at the Old Fort Inn,

Scone was warm and delicious

It wasn’t stated that we were Not at the Inn. Also, we were not able to have a meal at Their restaurant. It would have been nice to get a notice that we should get a reservation for the restaurant upon booking our room.

Exceptional

From the main building there were beautiful views of the ocean. There were warm scones and orange juice in a bag near the door in the morning! So nice!! The restaurant was exceptional.

I would try to stay in the main building next time.

Catered very much to couples. has a wonderful treat in the morning of croissant's muffins and scones. Nice espresso machine in lobby of clubhouse. The grounds were beautiful. The staff was amazing, very friendly!

Beautiful views, professional, helpful, friendly staff.

It was confusing about the room housekeeping. Most places will come and make your bed, provide fresh linens, etc. daily unless you request otherwise. Our room wasn't cleaned unless we asked to have it done. They were quite courteous and willing to provide the service when we requested it.
