A group of friends stayed here while celebrating my daughters 21 Birthday. Great location and pool close to the boardwal

Beds are not to comfortable and rooms like tvs and stuff are out dated.

Continous issues discovered throughout our stay.

the location was good

the room we stayed in was the dirtiest I’ve ever seen. the bed had a suspicious white stain that was on the surface of the comforter. there was about 12 empty beers hidden under the recycling bin bag. We noticed this when we threw out garbage and heard a glass sound. the pillows are also about a inch thick no exaggeration and the mattress is hard. the floor was not cleaned and was showing a noticeable amount of dirt on our feet as well as food wrappers from the previous guests. when I complained about this to the front desk she said they’re had been nobody in the room so she doesn’t know where that came from. I asked for a full refund and she declined stating that since we stayed the night we couldn’t get a full refund but here the kicker.. when I said we tried to come by the office the previous night when we got back from the boardwalk the office was closed and she said she closes early. So technically we weren’t even given a option to leave the facility. We were given a partial refund of not even half of what we paid. I don’t recommend staying here the positive reviews are misleading.

the office was hard to find. the lady working in the office was efficient but not all that friendly. the office smells like cigarettes

Not much. The staff was rude and mean. The property extremely dirty unkept and rooms where overrun by crackheads (literally)

The rooms were filthy, bed sheets and comforters looked like they had huge blood stains on them .. mattresses were filthy..

Great location friendly staff. All in all a good place for a jersey shore hotel

The pillows looked old and stained. The bath towels are thin and feel very rough

I would never stay here again! Not worth the money. Broken windows on 2nd level overlooking parking

No info regarding internet password or TV guide channels. I have never stayed anywhere without this info in the room. No coffee maker??? No shampoo/conditioner lotion

Winter in a summer place

Walking distance to two pubs and the boardwalk. But this is waning December and it's cold, dark and isolated. But existential too when you have the whole boardwalk literally to yourself. The ferris wheel stays lit and festive, and when you've had enough, you can return to the glow of your nice warm room. BTW, great spicy Chinese takeout 5 minutes away...and they do Pad Thai. One night in Bangkok!

The room with double queen was generous. The furniture and fixtures are worn but the clientele are beach people...hello? I really can't complain about my evening here.

Exceptional

The I been coming to Seaside for over 30 years and have been to almost every motel there. I found the Hershey about 10 years ago and never stayed anywhere else. It is always clean and has a huge pool. During the summer months there is a bbq restaurant and bar open onsite. You can walk to the beach and boardwalk. I highly recommend this motel

If you are just looking for a bed, then it’s fine. Have no expectations.

Car parking. Close to boardwalk.

Blinds were broken/missing. Fridge was dirty and couldn’t get anything other than frozen. Pillows were flat/beds small and bouncy. Place needs renovated. Thin walls. Really other than location it’s not a good place to stay. I could not understand how they have good ratings, a very disappointing stay and not worth the money.

Honestly everything was great! Besides the bed but it's nice because pool side food/drinks. Close to the boardwalk and beach! Staff was great! I would definitely book with them again.

The location was good within minutes from the beach. the place is unsanitary. The advertisement is wrong about queen bed

the location was great.

The room was dirty (floor/bathroom). I was also booked and paid for double queen beds. the beds were full my wife and I could barely fit in it. we even left a day earlier Tuesday at 10:00AM 8/16 instead of Wednesday 8/17.

1 Block from Boardwalk, spotlessly clean, budget friendly, nice folks, safe place to park your car.

1 block from the boardwalk. Nice clean rooms, tile floor (excellent to minimize sand. Swimming pool, roof top hang out spot, game room, a real tub. The bed - on the soft side and I love that. SPOTLESSLY CLEAN Was it old school like the other reviews say? Yup. For the bucks you can not beat it. Sweet little hub of humanity celebrating the bea h!

Awe come on guys! This place was great. You'll have to get someone else to complain.

Good hotel but don’t come early you won’t be able to check in

Very clean comfortable room, beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. Only a block away from the boardwalk/ beach. Had a view of the pool which is a big size and has a kiddie pool as well.

They do NOT do early check ins, drove from out of state got there around 10 am and had to wait until 1 pm to check in, also we didn’t have a tv remote in our room and we asked the lady at the front desk and she said she would have someone give us one we never got one also there was no wash clothes to shower with.

I would definitely be back

I loved that I was two blocks from the beach and slept well the bed was comfy and was quiet the lady at the counter was very polite and helpful and loved the balcony

The room is great just need to upgrade the bed spread and needs to be dusted better there was no shampoo no ice machine and no do not disturb sign but the small things don’t bother me

Location

They placed us in a room in the back row away from many open room over 100 available near the pool. There was no blow dryer for the woman. There is no phone, the shower curtain was moldy and cheap very used. No shampoo, very small flat screen tv with limited channels, if u want to see sports or sports center u wont see it on their tvs.
