The number one thing for me is that the owners/staff *clean* the rooms. (The owner confirmed that they do mop the floors every time - not every place in Miami/Miami Beach does.) By the way, this is a family-owned and operated motel that several local families have told me are good people. Also, if you want to see a little bit of the old Biscayne Boulevard, the Sinbad is a good place to start.

We were warmly welcomed and looked after for the whole trip. The room was big, spacious and had good AC. The bed was huge! Our hairdryer wasn’t working and the owner kindly gave us one for our whole stay. Brilliant value for money.
