Golden Nugget Lake Charles

I liked the pool and the hotel. It was very clean and we had plenty of towels.

I didn’t like that there was only 1 man working the 1 non-VIP front desk line and that I had to wait 45 minutes total in line to check in when we arrived. There were two other ladies working the two VIP lines, which didn’t always have someone in them, but those two ladies only started helping non-VIP guests after we waited in that line for 30 minutes. Why didn’t they have at least 3 people working us peon non-VIP guests? We were not good enough to have more help for non-VIP guests?? I paid over $500 for that room. Why were we treated like lower class and only had 1 person checking us in during a super busy time? I’ve been to hotels all around the country and they always have more people checking everyone out as equals. I’ve seen more help at hotels that only had rooms for 100 people. They need to stop being cheap and hire some more people in these positions. Second problem, why were there only 3 bartenders at the outside pool at the busiest time of day in 100-degree weather when there’s over 100 people in the pool and over 100 around the pool?? Golden Nugget needs to hire more people so they can offer excellent service to their patrons. I cannot give an excellent on this survey because the service in these two areas was subpar for a hotel that wants to claim this kind of caliber

Mostly everything and the fact I don't have to leave. Everything was there as far as shopping and eating

I didn't like that you had to pay to get in the pool. I think that should be included with the stay.
