Charles was an amazing host He was super friendly, the meals he made were delicious and he accommodated our requests. We stayed in the Wren cabin, and it was a quiet, cozy little place with all of the amenities you could expect. Everything was perfect for what we needed. My partner and I also had all the privacy we needed during our trip.
The mattress was a little stiff and the bedroom was hotter due to the humidity and summer heat.

They even accommodated our dietary needs (vegan). The staff was so nice and the building was beautiful.

Breakfast was delicious both days. Square is a twenty minute walk through historic homes. Charles is hospitable, friendly and kind. I really enjoyed the library. My sister enjoyed the hot tub. We would have enjoyed the yard (beautiful with many places to sit) more if the weather had cooperated.
The parking is limited, but we managed. Charles helped with that as well.

The host was incredibly nice and the breakfast was delicious
The world cup surge pricing definitely affected my expectations, but I'm still confused as to why this is listed as a four star hotel, up there with loews, when it's a two star inn. The AC isn't hooked up so we had a window unit in the living room that didn't sufficiently cool down the bed room, so much so that my partner slept on the couch. The deadbolt is broken so we didn't feel secure only being held in by the chain and the automated door handle lock which was tricky to get working. There's an air purifier and a dehumidifier running at all times that aren't piped out - so we had to empty the water tanks at night, otherwise the bungalow was humid. We also tripped the breaker using a clothing steamer so we had to steam clothes in the warm bedroom which got me sweating. We never got to see the main house due to a reserved party, so breakfast was brought to us, but no coffee or water. If I had been told it was a two star bungalow, and if I hadn't paid $400/night because of the world cup, I would have been more accepting- but the busted lock and paltry AC are universal deal breakers
