This was an exceptional place. Our room was spacious with a nice balcony. The grounds were lovely. The breakfast was delicious. It was a short drive into Durango for meals and shopping and a short drive to Mesa Verde National Park.

The location was great. A little drive from Durango, but nice and quiet. We enjoyed the our room and the breakfast was amazing. They did a great job!
There were three of us, so I got the pull out couch. Not a great sleep, mattress of course is thin and hard as a rock. Could benefit from a fluffy pillow top.

The breakfast was very good.
We chose Blue Lake because we stayed many years ago and remember how peaceful it was. @ little disappointed this time around as the grounds need to be kept up more. The rooms need updating. There was @ terrible smell from the septic system when we entered the room. It finally disapated. Stone steps were broken going up to the room which was dangerous. Updating the beds is a must.
