TownePlace Suites by Marriott Salt Lake City-West Valley

This is my second time visiting this stop and I’m always amazed by how amazing the staff is! So kind and welcoming!

I wish there wasn’t carpet in the gym but aside from that it was amazing!

Comfortable and clean room. The kitchen is so nice.

The toilet did need mantainance.

Hotel great location for the event we attended in Tooele, Utah. The hotel & room very clean, comfy bed, well set up kitchenette w/full size fridge. It was Great I could refreeze my cooler ice packs, convenient/nice pull out table to dine, great amount of storage for luggage, hooks to hang jackets, towels, etc. It was home away from home! The staff (am/pm) were friendly, courteous & helpful. Front Desk- Lucas gave great restaurant choices & helped me w/little issue re: the laundry room machines. The Breakfast was Great, had very good variety of proteins (alternating days), grains, fresh fruit, dairy & waffle makers. Liked the healthy toppings for oatmeal (coconut, nuts, dried fruit, etc) even put on top of my waffles. Waffles: were 2 flavors & 2 shapes to choose, if you want 4 mini waffles or large squares. The Breakfast staff were Excellent, Koli was friendly & assured to replenish the low running food items timely! He truly cared about his job & it showed! The fitness center not large, but had the basics, was perfect for a decent workout! Parking was good too, convenient to the building. Nice touch, coffee is offered at the lobby, my husband loved that! The area where hotel is situated was convenient to stores, restaurants, gas stations, yummy bakery (Kneaders), ice cream shop, movie theater, etc. Most within walking distance. The location was beautiful, surrounding snow capped mountains, nice view out the window. The Great Salt Lake not to far drive. If back in this area would definitely stay here! From now on will look for other Towneplace Suites by Marriott in my future travels.

I still gave 10 rating, Just a tiny issue with laundry room washing machine, it didn't register the money & got stuck, lost my change & had to use the other machine, no biggy, reported to front desk staff & they quickly refunded quarters. Best advice, drop the quarters in slowly & wait in-between drop in to avoid clogging the coin mechanism.

Conveniency, a lot of things to do not close from the location.

Ice machine down, and I couldn’t upgrade my room, even if I paid more. Breakfast was very lackluster.
