Home2 Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Downtown University Boulevard

Great room, great location(few minutes walk to the downtown area for food/drink), great staff, great AC, large smart TVs, nice seating area in the king room. Indoor pool looked nice, didn't use it, car park right outside(free). The staff we met at check in/out were great. I cannot think of the ladies name but Cedric is a great guy. Very quiet rooms, hotel was very busy(storm chasers and BAMA registrations) and you couldn't hear a sound through the walls.

I'm not really sure if there was anything except for new hotels attraction to sliding/pocket/barn doors in hotel bathrooms. They don't close well so if you know what I mean you know what I mean.

The staff especially Mr. Cedric was so accommodating and very hospitable. He is truly an asset to the hotel.

No afternoon kickback

Staff was wonderful! We could not have asked for more. Cedric also made suggestions of places to eat and did not disappoint.

Need extra blanket in the room. Staff did provide an extra one when asked. Couch foldout bed looked like it was still dirty from the last occupant. We did not use it.

Ariel at the front desk was the best! She was cleaning rooms and checking in people, doing 2 jobs at one time. She always had a smile on her face and never made the customer feel her stress. She deserves a promotion.

Rooms smelled. Air conditioning leaked on floor causing carpet to be wet. Hall ways very hot and humid. Breakfast was horrible and minimal.
