The 2 bedroom cottage is a good size for a couple and was very clean. We stayed in one bedroom and stored all our things in the other. Bed was comfortable. The outdoor deck and grassy area was perfect for our small dog and we loved the fireplace. The location is great, too. So easy to get to Bolton Landing or Lake George village. We basically had the whole property to ourselves given we stayed there the week before Labor Day and it was so quiet. Enjoyed lounging at the pool and the staff was immediately available to address any issues we had which were very minor.
Nothing major as overall we loved it! The grounds could use a little TLC. Weeds at the pool and falling retaining wall, dips in the driveway entrance, landscaping, and one of the buildings (large White House) appears to be in disrepair or in the process of being repaired?? Patio table could be painted and the umbrella was kinda dingy. Windows in the bedrooms were old and some without screens so you couldn’t open them without bugs while the rest of the windows were brand new. Bedding was pretty worn and could use a refresh and you have to bring your own bath & pool towels. You also have to bring your own shampoo, conditioner, coffee, creamer, and filters for the coffee maker though we lucked out that there were already filters in our unit. Providing these things would go a long way in helping guests.
