Good
The bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed the live music and the yurt bar. Great atmosphere.
The bathroom is very dated. Way overpriced. The restaurant next door was a terrible experience. We were told at 5pm that we had to wait a half hour for the chef to catch up. Came back at 5:30pm and ordered an appetizer, drinks and dinner. Took an hour literally just to get on small appetizer. Took another hour plus to get our dinner. We were sitting outside and enjoying the weather. But, unfortunately, by the time our dinner came, it was 8pm and it was dark. No outside lights. We had to use our phone flashlight to eat our meal. Due to the long wait, the chef could have comped our drinks for such a long wait. Or do something to acknowledge our long wait. The only reason we did not cancel our meal was because we were starving and did not want to leave the premise as we were enjoying drinking and listening to the music. I might stay there again, but I would never eat there again.

Great
Great location. Everything I needed was accessible. Nice and quiet and I like the keypad check in.
It was a great place to stay. I don't have anything to say here.

A great home-base from which to ski/snowboard Gore and enjoy the great outdoors. We'll be back!
Our room was quite clean and comfortable, and I have to give them kudos for providing TWO large and very comfortable reclining chairs in our room! (A pet peeve of mine is that most hotels only provide ONE chair per room!) and the throws were quite cosy. All of the hooks and places to dry our boots, gloves, and jackets were well thought out and greatly appreciated. We also found the rags provided to wipe down our snowy and/or muddy equipment came in handy, especially after the snow and impressive downpour that we had while we were there. We brought along our snowshoes and micro-spikes and headed onto the trails which begin right in the parking lot and end (if you properly plan your hike) at the entertainment yurt. We always make sure to enjoy dinner at Beck's Tavern, as the food never disappoints. We were lucky enough to be there on a day that Beck's was serving breakfast; it was delicious!
The yurt which is available as a living-room space was not attended to the three days we were there. On Friday evening, the trash bin was overflowing with empty wine bottles, the wood stove was cold and jammed full of partially-burned wood, and there was a general feeling of disarray. We checked back in on Sunday evening, and everything was just as it had been on Friday night. Since we had really enjoyed the yurt the last time we'd stayed at the Gore Mountain Lodge, we took it upon ourselves to straighten up, sweep up the scattered debris and ashes from around the wood stove, empty the wood stove and get a fire started to warm up the space. So, we only got to enjoy the living-room yurt one of the three evenings we were there.

Good hermit-like accommodation--spacious, comfortable and expensive.
Breakfast? There were 4 coffee items (2 of which were not good). For two mornings two cups of coffee is not enough. Location is great--5 minutes to ski parking lot.
$500 for two nights (which included 10% Bookings discount and 11% tax). No cable tv (was advised that it wasn't working but was advised and that the cable company was working on it). Monday is a terrible night to find a place to eat. Beck's tavern and restaurant is closed as is most of the area eateries. Some that were suggested to try for food ended up being closed for good. The Barking Spider was packed (SRO) and only one undermanned barmaid holding the fort--no getting a meal there. Basil and Wicks was closed to the public due to a memorial dinner. Ended up getting food from a gas station. Staying on a Monday night? Bring a dinner in a cooler from home. The heat wouldn't stay above 65 degrees F. Tried to raise the thermostat with no success.
