The place was very peaceful. I enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch. My room was very pretty and comfortable. Refreshments were provided around the clock and that was convenient. The breakfast was excellent, too.

This is a historic house and the location is great, just a block from Hendersonville's main street. The staff was friendly and the mini fridges on each floor were well stocked with bottled water and soda. Great shower pressure.
The inn is a bit shabby and does not have central air-conditioning. The room had a window unit that was old and loud. Because it was hot and humid during our stay in June, we had to run the AC unit continuously and the sound was distracting. The common rooms did not have strong air-conditioning, sometimes turned off, and so were not comfortable.
