Food and shopping was a bit far and hard to find. It is a ways from the "famous" part of the boardwalk with the shops but overall the area is peaceful, clean and very beautiful. Right across the street from the beach, can't beat it.
The pool area was the best for the kids, they loved it.
There could have been better food options. I also wished the hotel offered floaties or life vests for the kids in the pool.
