The staff was so personable and made it a point to tell my sister happy birthday, after I had mentioned that we were taking her on vacation to celebrate. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we would definitely stay here again.

Location was great. Check in girl was friendly.
No coffee in room or in lobby, which didn't open until 8:30 a.m. according to the sign.
No blow dryer. No lamp or bedside table. No coffee maker. Did I mention that?

Love the charm and location, very close to the hot springs and river for tubing. Lava is really small so it's pretty close to everything in town. Staff was friendly and helpful.
The motel needs to be renovated inside, the bed was not very comfy and had sinking springs you can feel. The outlet the microwave was plugged into was not secured to the wall and just pulled out box and all. Our bathroom fan was also not working and they had left the cover off so the inner fan was exposed. The toilet is likely the original and needed to be flushed multiple times to do its job. The AC unit was pretty old and loud as well but worked ok. Pretty clean though and the tub and tile was newer. There was a lamp that is fixed to the wall directly over the middle of the bed that I kept hitting with my arm all night as well. The pricing does not reflect the condition of the rooms, feel like for what I paid we shouldn't have had the issues with the room.
