Very good

Breakfast was really great. Many hot options. Innkeeper was very welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked very well.

Wish we could have been able to purchase drinks and water there. Small fridge in room would be ideal. Usb ports to charge phones somewhere near night tables would be good too. But these are small suggestions. Overall liked the place !

Superb

Breakfast was made to order and very generous. Great fruit every day, and yogurts, etc. Perfect place to have a base from. Terrific little town with several good restaurants to walk to.

I wanted à ‘Gilmore girls like’ experience and I got exactly what I was looking for at the Old Stagecoach Inn. The place is lovely, full of character, super well maintained. The staff was amazingly welcoming, I felt at home. Breakfast excellent and they try their best to accommodate allergies or other diet preferences which is very nice of them! the free cookies at the lobby were amazing, the location really great at the heart of the village. my room as super tiny but comfortable. I used the ‘living room’ space in the evenings, super nice.

the price is quite high given I had to share a bathroom with 2 other rooms but I had no issues with bathroom being used when I wanted to, so was not a problem (I was aware I had booked a shared bathroom room, so no bad surprise). the bathroom itself was super clean, so agreeable to use. As in all old buildings, noise isolation is quite non existent, so bring earplugs.

We enjoyed our stay - especially the breakfast!

We loved the breakfast! It was delicious, fresh, and made to order. The location was excellent, since it was right off the freeway and close to a lot of the activities we planned to do in the area. The employees were friendly and helpful. The rooms were decorated with fun antiques and were cozy.

We had booked a room with three beds and there were only two beds when we arrived due to an issue with the bed that had been there before, so one of us had to sleep on a blow up mattress. We were really grateful that they were able to accommodated us with that, though!

Clasic Vermont B&B

Excellent made-to-order breakfast. Good parking and in village center. Very comfortable beds.

Kitchen facilities useful. Oven nice but a microwave would have been more useful to reheat take-out orders.

Cozy, quaint and friendly inn

Love the cozy, quaint atmosphere and personal connection with the owner and employees. I let them know in advance that it was our first anniversary, and when we checked into our room, we found a lovely note and dessert from the inn staff wishing us a Happy Anniversary. We also enjoyed our room as it was on the top floor and very spacious. Last, the breakfast is incredible, and we couldn’t believe that such a long delicious menu would be included as part of the stay.

Enjoyed to stay old England style hotel!

Location is very good. It is near I-89, and we can walk to downtown. The facility out side and in-side are very pretty. Good for all age group, especially, young couple and ladies group.

I wish they had hair dryer. ( if it was there, I am sorry. I could not find..) When we walked in the room, floor made noise. I hope we didn't bother who were stayed under our room.

Pleasant stay at an old Inn

It's a lovely old Inn with interesting decor, a lovely bar with a nice seating area. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect for sightseeing and walking around with plenty of parking spaces. The bed was very comfortable with a good size room. Nice settee and functional bathroom. There was a good heating system and a separate aircon.

I know this is an old Inn and I'd expect things not to be pristine but a few things were not right. As I don't want to leave a negative review, because we did enjoy our stay I will just mention that the fridge made an extremely loud noise that in the end I had to unplug it at night.

Property would welcome some updating. Also, we stayed in room #5, which is extremely small and difficult to fit 2 suitcases in it. However, we were forewarned about the room’s tiny size when we booked it so were prepared. Still, it was smaller than we imagined.

Historical place within walking distance to everything in Waterbury. Everyone was friendly and helpful. An Excellent made to order breakfast!

This is a very convenient location and the breakfast makes it a worthwhile stop.

Absolutely wonderful breakfast. Staff was delightful.

Property is a bit tarnished by the years of use. I understand the inn has just been bought and perhaps the new owners may polish up the place.

Lovely old style inn Ample free parking in their own car park Comfortable beds Good shower Complimentary shampoo, conditioner & shower gel to use Air conditioning & fan in room Fabulous breakfast - buffet (juice, fruit, pastries, muffins) followed by extensive menu of hot options (recommend Vermont cheese omelette) Efficient service from the breakfast hostess Short walking distance to local restaurants, supermarket & pharmacy

There wasn't really anything we didn't like. It would have been nice to have had bottled water in the room.

This was an awesome BNB, great facility and staff, and would highly recommend!

The breakfast was exceptional in both choices and quality. Coffee, tea, water always available too!

I was satisfied with the overall experience and nothing comes to mind. Would recommend and stay there again.

Lovely Old New England Inn in great location serving delicious breakfast.

We had a very large 2 bedroom suite which had a cosy country/New England feel and was very comfortable for our family of three. Large outdoor terrace for breakfast and drinks. Right in heart of Woodstock so easy to walk to restaurants/taverns and 5 min drive from Ben and Jerry's. Lovely cooked breakfast - really enjoyed all the trimmings incl. pancakes.

There were some cobwebs around the windows in second bedroom and air conditioning units looked old/dusty.

It looked like the carpets had not been cleaned in over a decade. The paint was flaking on the porch. The room had neither TV nor a table. The shower was not big enough to turn around . My overall impression is that the place was pretty rundown.
