It’s a beautiful period home in a beautiful location. Sue, Bill and the whole staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating. The homemade breakfasts were delicious. We enjoyed having coffee on the wrap around porch each morning.

Nothing comes to mind. Inns like the Sterling are our go to type of lodging. Friendly, low key, comfortable and with a proud history.

Nous avons tout adoré dans cet établissement très chaleureux et charmant. Sue et Bill (nos hôtes) sont des personnes super sympathiques, accueillantes et bienveillantes. Such warm and friendly people! From front desk to the cooks to the housekeeper. Even the other guests were super friendly. We also liked the vibes: old wooden beams and lots of character.

The walls are a little thin, but it was fine for one night. We slept well.
