Beautiful setting

There wasn’t any place to put luggage or clothes. It was hard to stay organized. Set of drawers and a luggage rack would be helpful.

We stayed at Chataqua Lodge for two nights for my mom's 72nd birthday, and we had a wonderful time! The staff had left a little goodie bag and happy birthday card for my mom when we first arrived, which we so appreciated to make the stay a little more special! Most of our time was spent out on the screened in porch. The porch was probably the best part of the cottage. And we all just loved the history of the lodge and surrounding area. The whole area was a little haven in the middle of Boulder.

There wasn't much we didn't like. The beds are definitely pretty cozy for two people, but I understand that it's an old building and there's not much that can be done about this because bigger beds wouldn't fit. The only thing I wish the front desk person had mentioned when we checked in was that we could use our room keys for a 10% discount at the dining hall. While the room key had it written in big letters on it, I honestly didn't pay attention, and realized only after we'd gone to the Chataqua Dining Hall for my mom's birthday dinner that we could have gotten 10% off our meal since we were staying at the lodge.

The location of these cottages is incredible. Staying in such an idyllic setting was unbelievable and the access to such great trails was so nice. We had plenty of space in our cottage. We loved spending time outside in the screened porch. We also loved getting a latte at the cafe every morning.

We love everything about Chautauqua - 4th time we have stayed and it never disappoints. Lovely to see it in the spring - beautiful tulips and fresh green leaves 🍃
