Midnight Sun Log Cabins could not have been more cozy and convenient! We were greeted by Janet and given the grand tour right away, telling us just what we needed to know. We had cabin 1! The cabin had everything anyone could need for a comfortable stay including a loft sleeping area so my brother and I could have our own spaces and was more than adequate for a whole family! One huge advantage is Seward is a short distance away so you can enjoy everything Seward has to offer with a sanctuary to return to when you are ready. In Seward we had a wonderful hike in the Lowell Point State Recreation Site on the Tonsina trail to the Tonsina point which takes you through and enchanting evergreen forest with hanging mosses. Afterward, a light snack on the waterfront at Primrose Provisions and had enough time to return to Moose Pass for a lovely late day flyover with Alaska Float Ratings, walking distance from our cabin. We had time to enjoy the treat from the Trail Lake Lodge and Estes Brother’s groceries, just down the street. We loved ever moment of our stay a Midnight Sun!!

The cabin we had was marvelous, with a great balcony. We also appreciated the breakfast, which did involve only coffee and pancakes--but what pancakes! They were very skillfully made. I don't know if I'd even suggest they expand the menu, which might be too much trouble for them, and make them draw back from offering the pancakes. Also, the proprietors were very friendly and helpful, offering tips about nearby hikes.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The cabins were cute, conveniently located and reasonably priced for our plans. I would stay here again but would choose one of the cabins further away from the road.

The road noise from our cabin (the one closest to the road) was pretty loud and consistent until midnight to about 4am. I would definitely choose one of the cabins further from the road.
