Overall great experience. Staff was fantastic very helpful

Loved the location , close to waterfalls bike trails and restaurants Loved the whirlpool tub

The mattress was very hard and not enough pillows No peep hole in the door .

It the people who make the place special, memorable and make you want to come back

very nice, family run. Clean and comfortable. The manager was so kind and helpful - took the time to tell us about things of interest in the area. It really made our trip better!!

I will be sure to bring my bike on our next visit to take full advantage of the adjoining trail.

The location in Montour Falls is very convenient for a visit to Watkins Glen State Park, roughly 2 miles north. Across the street from the motel is an entrance to a rail trail hiking/biking path that leads right into the city of Watkins Glen.

Facility failed to meet our reasonable expectations.

Manager and staff were very helpful. Manager provided excellent information as to local events, activities and places to eat. We felt the challenges with the facility were beyond his control to remedy.

See comments above. Noise level from room above throughout the night. Musty smell in room.

Very accommodating manager/owner and an excellent location for activities in the Watkins Glen area.

Excellent location; breakfast is coffee and juice. No elevators, so be careful which room you book.

Adequate stay in a beautiful location. Would stay again.

Nice location. Staff were very kind and responded to our needs. Checking in was easy. Parking was readily available. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.

The A/C for the room was too small to adequately cool the space. I called and asked if they had any fans. They did have one which helped a lot. The breakfast was some prepackaged muffins and limited fruit. I would consider it a morning snack rather than a real breakfast.

The office personnel were very nice.

I prefer a sink in the bathroom and the tub floor wasn't very clean.The toilet sounded like it was going to fall off the wall!

besides it being a very cold room Watkins Glen is beautiful

the room itself was very nice

The room was very very cold.. I had the fireplace on and it was on a timer but it didn’t give out heat, the heater I had on 88 and my toes was still frozen.. I also was suppose to have a Mountain View and was none, only view was the parking lot..

The motel was a very pleasant and affordable stay!

Staff was so friendly. Rooms were impeccably clean. Temperature in room was great and room cleaned daily. It was only a short drive to the Watkins glen town and it staff pointed us towards the direction of nearby trails to walk/climb!

Excellent place to stay if you are chasing Waterfalls

The Motel Manager was very accommodating and suggested a place to eat and places to visit and a little history of the area....We loved that especially when you are not familiar with an area. Of course we took his advice and everything was to satisfaction.

As a travel agent I'm slightly more spoiled when it comes to a little more luxury for the money. However, for a motel it was excellent and glad we found them and would call them again or recommend them to others who might be going to the area for a visit...
