The cabin was situated on the shore, with a fabulous view of the harbor. There was rarely a need for the car, as the town was so close. Even though the spot was so near the ferry dock and restaurants, etc, it was very quiet and peaceful. The garden and the dock were lovely and inviting. Coffee and tea, a tiny fridge, and very effective A/C. Host reached out graciously to ask if there was anything we needed. The larger adjoining condo was vacant during our stay; I suppose the experience might be different if there was a large or boisterous party staying there. Could have launched my SUP from the shore outside the cabin-wish I had brought it along!
The skylights give the space a terrific natural light, but there is no way to block them out. The room becomes quite bright at dawn. If I returned, I would consider bringing cardboard or beach towels to allow a more leisurely and cozy morning. There was truly nothing else to complain about. The website was very clear, and the property was as advertised.

Amazing view of the water and ferries. Great sitting on the deck watching the birds and boats. Easy walking distance from the ferry terminal and shops.

Location is excellent, great for walking on and off the ferry.
The stairs down to the property are fairly treacherous.
There are two windows in the room with no curtains whatsoever, and the sunshine is bright early so that was disappointing.
There was a small TV, but the only thing we could access was Netflix. Not even local channels, but plenty of shows from the 70s and 80s.
