This property is so amazing and so beautiful. What a charming and relaxing place to stay. For being one of the most haunted places in America, and staying in the most haunted “Doll Room@. We slept like babies and had zero encounters with ghosts. We did the tours and enjoyed the turkey that wonders the property and also lets you pet him. His name is Ivan. He is a trip. The restaurant was amazing in every way. One of the best steaks I’ve had in years. Do yourself a favor and go see them and take the tour, eat there and for sure sleep there. We will come visit again.

There’s literally nothing to not like about this place.

Friendly staff in a relaxed atmosphere. Easy and delicious breakfast in the Bayou room. Beautiful trees, plants, birds singing, turkey trotting-some of my favorite things.

We could have used an on-site lunchtime that was affordable. I was surprised by Wednesday evening’s meal at the fine dining restaurant-very loud music, very loud guests, and you ran out of smash burger bread which we learned after a long wait. PS: the wedge salad was wonderful.

The room was okay but, of course, it was over-priced. People came to this place because of its ghosts. The staff is pleasant and our guide on the afternoon tour was good. Restaurant was expensive. I suppose that ghosts are not cheap! You should not expect to see any but the info was interesting.

Cost. Not much in room.
