Feather Factory Hotel

This place is awesome!! It’s affordable, clean, and the staff is great! There really is 24 hour front desk and this hotel has a little “shop” in the lobby where you can purchase drinks, snacks, and essentials and the prices aren’t bad at all. I think the view is very pretty, and they have a breakfast buffet on the top floor with a view. The breakfast concierge is so sweet, he’s a great guy. You can’t access the elevator without your key card which is pretty cool because it ensures safety for the guests. We landed early before check in, so the hotel employee was very generous to hold our luggage for us. I will definitely be staying here again!

This isn’t even about what I didn’t like about the hotel, more so what i believe others will find a problem with, the location of the hotel is by the train tracks so you will hear the subway throughout the night and day. But it’s not bad enough to where it’s hard to sleep. Only other thing is the closest subway station is a 10 minute walk from the hotel, but again, not a problem for certain or most people. It was only an issue for me because my legs got sore after a whole day of walking lol. But other than that, no complaints at all!

Subway station is a 12 minute walk from here so it’s perfect if you want to stay outside of the city but still have quick access to manhattan

Rooms were a good size for a nyc stay but still smaller than what I’m used to

The location was absolutely amazing. The staff were all great. The facility was quite new. The response tike from the hotel was quick. Quite spacious for a hotel in new york

It wasn't incredibly clean: we had a few spots in the bathtub and on the nightstand that were just a bit too dirty

Easy to find but the staff was accommodating but not friendly. Nice that they had a deli inside the hotel, really appreciated that.

Had some stains on the bed but otherwise was fine
