Spark By Hilton Freeport

It was clean and bed was comfortable.

It was a little further from the downtown area than I preferred

The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was included. The pricing was very good as compared to other hotels in the area. The room had a king sized bed and desk area which pulled out into an L shape which provided lots of work area. There were a lot of power connections- at the desk, beside the bed and on the walls near the bed. An extra chair and footstool was also in the room. The open closet had an ironing board and iron, suitcase rack and sufficient amount of hangers. A full length mirror was on the wall opposite the bathroom. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in containers on the wall. The sink had body lotion in a bottle on the wall also. There was a hairdryer in a bag on a hook on the door. The shower stall was roomy and had a grab bar. The water pressure was strong with a large shower head. The bathroom had a fan which worked and was quiet. The room A/C worked well and was very quiet. I did not know the Spark name but I picked it because of the Hilton name attached and it didn’t disappoint.

The room decor was sparse but we attributed this to the recent remodel. Although there was a microwave and fridge, we missed having coffee available in the room. We arrived late, after 8 pm, and I didn’t know that coffee was available in the lobby.

They had a water machine to fill bottles. Pillows good although bed was pretty soft. Very clean Nice lobby

Pet fee was $75 for one night Outside door at end of hallway did not lock. No carpeting in room which was nice but it made the room above very noisy.

It was clean and a convenient stop on our trip.
