OUT OF 100 — The Service Is Beyond Anything I’ve Experienced!
Before our stay, I called ahead to make sure I knew exactly what would be due when we arrived and if there was anything else I could do to make our arrival as smooth and easy as possible. I really appreciated being able to prepare ahead of time.
I believe her name was Jackie (I hope I’m spelling it correctly), and she was absolutely wonderful! I asked about arriving a little early, and she told me she would give me a call if our room became available. Sure enough, about an hour later, she called! My kids were SO excited because we came here to celebrate their birthdays — they are 11 and 10 years old — and that little extra effort made such a difference for our family.
When we arrived, the gentleman at the front desk (I’m so disappointed I didn’t get his name!) was absolutely on point. He explained everything thoroughly, made sure we understood all the details, and even let us know there was a number we could call if we needed anything during our stay. He was friendly, professional, and made us feel so welcomed.
And the service didn’t stop there!
I requested a rice cooker from the front desk and BAM — less than five minutes later, housekeeping was knocking on our door with it! That kind of responsiveness is something you remember.
We also happened to arrive while we are dealing with a hurricane Nolo alert, and I have to give the hotel so much credit for keeping everyone informed. We received updates by text every two hours, or immediately whenever there was a change. That made us feel safe, informed, and genuinely cared for.
From the moment we pulled up, the bellmen were amazing. They immediately helped with our belongings and told us, essentially, “Don’t worry about anything — we’ve got you.” And they absolutely did! Our luggage was delivered to our room so quickly.
Housekeeping has also been incredible.
We booked this trip about a month in advance, so Hurricane Nolo completely took us by surprise. We lost electricity around 2:35 a.m., and it was still out by the time we arrived for check-in. For some reason, my phone service was also down, which made everything even more difficult.
That being said, I have to give credit where credit is due. The hotel had emergency generators running, including the elevators, which was such a huge convenience. We were traveling with my 68-year-old mother-in-law and had a room on one of the highest floors, so I honestly don't think she would have been able to make it down all those stairs.
They also had charging ports available in the lobby, which was extremely helpful since we couldn't rely on electricity or phone service. The restaurant was also giving out free coffee, which was such a thoughtful gesture during a stressful situation.
Despite the circumstances, we really appreciated how prepared the hotel was and the little things they did to make things easier for their guests. The hurricane and power outage definitely weren't something anyone planned for, but the hotel did what they could to make a difficult situation more manageable for everyone.

Concierge provided a scratch gift card at the time of check-in and kept asking for us to come next day to receive gift and finally last day around checkout they mentioned the program has been cancelled 😡. Also at the time of checkin I had requested for late checkout around 11AM and it was agreed and confirmed over email but a day day before checkout front desk informed it won’t be possible. Also housekeeping showed up 10 sharp - also they don’t clean room everyday irrespective of us paying almost 1 grand a day per stay 😡
