The room was clean, the sheets were clean and the bed was very comfortable. The whole place did not smell bad at all. Some older properties have a funky smell but that was not the case here. The staff were very friendly, nice and polite. Made you feel comfortable and welcome.

The outside did not match the pictures at all. If it was dark we would have driven right by. I think they might have used AI to enhance the outside or it was a very old picture. But I would stay there again.

The owner Steve is the most genuine, generous man I’ve ever met, we really enjoyed meeting him, listening to his life experiences and having a drink with him. If I’m ever back in the area, I would book back in here to see the place again.

Can’t beat the location. Right off Rte 28 in the heart of The Catskills. Lots of trails close by. The owner was attentive and looked after every guest. Lots of locals pop into the bar for a lively feel.

Dated so it feels like stepping back in time. After the initial reaction, it was kind of cool to look at all the antiques and collectibles. Could use a little love & attention but probably still bouncing back after covid.
