This resort is awesome if you want an easy trip to the park since it is only a 20-minute drive to the Yellowstone West Gate. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and you are right down the street from a gas station and a grocery store which is perfect for grabbing snacks before heading out. It is also great that the property offers a kitchen and cooking facilities, so you can actually cook and enjoy a nice meal right there while staying. The price is totally worth it for the location, and everything is kept really nice and clean.
Just keep in mind that it is an older building, so there is a bit of that classic old building smell when you walk in. But honestly, for the price and the convenience, it is a great spot to stay.

I was so impressed with the unit, a one-bedroom apartment/condo. It was super clean, comfy, and surprisingly big. Our daughter loved the pool and enjoyed the playground. So close to the grocery store around the corner!
The kitchen is pretty well-stocked, but you really have to bring just about everything to cook with - oil was the thing we forgot! and bring your own coffee filters too. Not really any pretty 'views' of Island Park, but a cute set up in the trees. Odd that kids aren't allowed in the hot tub. My daughter gets cold easily and likes to put her feet in the hot tub to warm up (obviously supervised!) but the staff were very strict and repeated it so many times - we thought we would definitely get in trouble if we let her try to warm up.

Location close to Yellowstone
Wasn't too happy about the non-refundable $37.80 resort fee that wasn't mentioned on Booking.com and wasn't made clear at the front desk upon check-in. Our family didn't have time to use any of the resort facilities due to a full agenda at Yellowstone.
