no cell service, people would leave their laundry in the washer and dyer so you couldn’t use it.. no breakfast on site have to drive at least 30 mins to get something to eat

We wanted a secluded location for a getaway, and Evergreen Valley Inn provided exactly that—a clean, quiet, and peaceful environment. We had a one-bedroom APT which gave us ample room to relax. The inn is surrounded by woods, with a lush expanse of green trees visible through the large bedroom windows. The air, especially after the rain, was so fresh that it seemed to carry the scent of flowers. There are several trail heads nearby. No breakfast is offered, but morning coffee and a slice of cake are provided to help get your day started.

Room was clean, staff were friendly and welcoming.

It was a great price and the staff was friendly and accomodating. The decor and room was as advertised as far as the 70s decor. Would be a great place to take a crowd of people and enjoy the ammenities offered. The grounds were very well maintained, with cheery floweres in the landscaping.

We live in a rural area, and travel to remote areas regularly, so when the reviews said "in the middle of nowhere" (TMON) we were not deterred but it is truely TMON, since the property was originally a 70s resort area with skiing, golf, and equestrian, etc., but now only the 160 room Inn remains. Our reservation was for Tuesday and Wednesday in late August and there were NO OTHER GUESTS in the whole inn, plus the staff went home at 5:30 so it was a bit weird to be in this huge inn in TMON by ourselves. Our loft was comfy and we fell asleep, but our daughter who was sleeping on the fold out downstairs did not feel safe, so we ended up not staying the night. (Also being dog friendly is fun, but the couches still had a slight pup smell.)
