We can't recommend this vacation rental too gross, sad and disappointing.
The big deck off the side of the house. The main living space was open and bright.
The furniture was so nasty and beyond anything we have ever experienced before. We were actually bummed out after walking through the house we would be staying in for 4 days and nights. The upholstery was so heavily soiled, stained, faded and even ripped up (some of the dining chairs). We didn't even want to sit on the sofa we put a blanket on the top so we could sit down without getting feeling too creepy crawly! The sofa pillows were terrible - ready for the garbage can't imagine the owners not being able to see how bad things really are in that house. The dresser in the one bedroom had a broken drawer the actual front of the drawer was broken off. In the living room lampshade liner fell apart when we put the light on and we had to switch it out with a lampshade in the bedroom. This house could be really cute and comfortable if the owners would get rid of the nasty garage sale junk and invest a little of their rental funds to allow guests to feel more at home and comfortable to be able sit down on the furniture during their stay. Also one of the plastic chairs and small table on the deck were cracked and broken, plastic chairs are cheap to replace, show some pride of ownership and make your property more inviting and you will get return guests. Also replace the lock box on the door, we tried and tried to put the key in the box but the lid could not be attached the spring was too old, after wasting 15 min. we called VACASA and explained we had locked up but the lock box was not secure. Also 2 of the smoke detectors were going off on and on the last 2 days and needed to have the batteries replaced. People on vacation paying for a comfortable stay somewhere should not have to hassle with the stuff we had to deal with during our stay - really disappointing!
