Great guesthouse with the best people. 10/10

Best stay I had in my holiday trip. I cannot overstate how accomodating and kind the owner is to their guests. Right at the heart of Takeda, walking distance from the station. Super clean and comfortable rooms. I wish I stayed a little longer. I'll be definitely coming back here.

Comfortable and clean hotel with the sweetest nicest host!

Very close to the train station, facilities were clean and comfortable, but the host was the best part! Sweetest most caring host I’ve had so far!

Exceptional

The host was so kind. Oh my god she was so careful and friendly that I felt like my Mom. We kept talking for about 30 minutes straight ! There were not many convenience stores around ( just one, and a bit far away, in fact ) but she was willing to take me there by car. She runs a cafe which is on another side of the building but I didn't know until I left. Most of restaurants there open from 11am and her cafe starts at 10am, which is pretty good, especially for people who have a bit tight schedule of their trip. I was the only guest the day I came so yeah, it was comfortable to occupy the whole place but I felt a little scared when it turned dark honestly haha

Exceeded expectations

The location is great, really close to the train station. The owner is fantastic - she was incredibly kind and helpful. She asked me about my plans and made sure I had a good stay. Her advice worked out perfectly and made my stay better than I anticipated. Even after I checked out she went above and beyond to help me.

Frindliest Guesthouse Ever!

Wow! From the moment we arrived, Kitamura-san greeted us with her warm smile and informed us of the local sightseeing and nearby restaurants before checking us into our room. The room was clean and comfortable, as was the rest of the accommodation facilities. We felt very relaxed and at home. We decided to have Yakiniku at restaurant 5km away and Kitamura-san kindly offered to drive us there. Not only that. She also stayed around and waited to drive us back even though we told her that we’d take a taxi. She is an incredibly warm, caring and hospitable host who went above and beyond her call of duty. I highly recommend this place. The morning hike to photograph the Takeda Castle ruins was hard work but worth it.

I wish I had stayed longer.

Perfect little guesthouse in a perfect little town.

The owner doesn't speak English, which is completely fine because I can speak conversational Japanese. The owner's Japanese is VERY easy to understand! She speaks slowly and clearly. I really appreciated that because I often miss things because some people speak too quickly. Thank you so much Owner-san!

Superb

The host Kitamura-san was very friendly and extremely helpful. Fukunae House is located near the train station and you can reach the Takeda Castle ruins as well as a mountain at the opposite side with a observatory.

Lovely place with the most lovely owner ever!
